Constructing Hope

Constructing Hope Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program helps participants develop an understanding of apprenticeship opportunities available in the construction trades. Each participant will gain entry-level skills, familiarity with trade tools, terminology, and basic principles, and knowledge of various career opportunities within the trades. Constructing Hope offers a 10-week program with a total of 256 hours of classroom and hands-on training. Training is provided by a nationally certified instructor, along with professionals from the construction industry, on a Tuesday through Thursday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Upon graduation, participants receive assistance with permanent job placement and will have earned the following certifications: health and safety (OSHA 10), flagging, forklift, confined space, and first aid/CPR, plus hazardous waste, operations, and emergency response (HAZWOPER).
