“I was looking for someone to design a small area between the kitchen and back patio; not exactly a room, but larger than a pass through, with which I was having a difficult time. I found Sherry while looking at ideas on the Houzz site. Her reviews led me to call her and I’m very glad I did. We made an appointment to meet. She arrived at my house at our scheduled time a couple of days later and in a few minutes I knew she would be the right designer for us. Having had some design experience in my working life, it was a little difficult to let go of my ideas but Sherry patiently listened to my ideas while showing me hers in such a caring and instructive way. On my own I probably would not have thought about using the materials she suggested for the window and patio door, but I sensed I could trust her judgement, and I’m glad I did. The finished product is a lovely quality custom banquet, soft woven woods and beautifully made side panel drapes. She works with the best team, from the furniture maker/upholsterer, to the best window coverings installer I have ever seen. She brought out many samples books from which to choose beautiful banquet fabric and window coverings, and also had those samples sent directly to my house so that I could see them at different times of day in different lighting. She was there every step of the way during the installation of both the banquet and window coverings, paying attention to the smallest details. Also, she never put any pressure on me, but guided me to make good decisions. It was a total delight working with Sherry; she is a sweetheart and a true professional, and I would highly recommend her. My husband and I are both extremely happy that she stayed within budget, and especially pleased with the end results.”
