Jo remodeled our kitchen not only does she go above and beyond to be available and helpful she also does beautiful work. She even got stuck here by herself during a tornado warning and went to our basement and calmed our dogs down. She is extremely talented , warm and friendly. We look forward to working with her again in the future.

We have had such a great experience working with Jo. We found her after seeing pictures of her work on the HOUZZ website! We bought a new home and needed to put our personal touch on it. Jo patiently worked with us on color palettes, window treatments, bathroom and bar remodels and new lighting. The upgrades and changes are very tasteful and look fantastic. She has a great eye for pulling everything together. Jo never got frustrated with me or my husband! I especially love how she was willing to work some of our favorite pieces and colors into the design. We are looking forward to working with Jo on future home decor and renovation projects. We highly recommend Jo and My Great Spaces!

We've been working with Jo for about a year and a half now... We'd moved from a tiny rented apt in NYC to a huge (to us) house in ATL, so we had to do a lot of furnishing/decorating, and we didn't really have any experience doing either of those things. Jo came in and helped us with everything from creating a paint scheme that flows through our entire house, to picking out lighting, to consulting on colors that would be ideal for our stairway banister, to sourcing furniture that fit our space and aesthetic... She also met with our general contractor several times to weigh in on the design elements that would need to be considered, which was so helpful from a "big picture perspective" to make sure our reno was going to make sense with our design plans. Jo really took the time to understand us and our personalities, and devise a plan that would reflect our sense of style in our home... so it felt like "us". Jo is kind, fun to be around, and doesn't mind when our puppy jumps all over her when she comes over. Her prices have been reasonable, and she shops in a way that maximizes the value for her clients. We've been really happy and have already recommended her to some of our friends who have purchased new homes recently. We look forward to continuing to work with Jo on both large and small projects for years to come.

I found Jo from Great Spaces while getting ideas from Houzz. I loved her portfolio, but realized she is in Atlanta and I am in Chicago. Wasn't sure I could do this long-distance, but thought I'd see what she had to say. After calling Jo and explaining how my old, tired house needed a major update, I knew she was the designer for me! Jo is just awesome!!! She listened and understood EXACTLY what I was wanting. She asked important questions that I would not have even thought of asking. She came up with design ideas that fit perfectly with my busy household of two 13-year-olds, a husband and multiple furry friends. We didn't have a lot to spend, but Jo knew exactly how to get the "best bang for our buck". I love, love , love how my design project is turning out. It's exactly what I would pick if I knew how to pick and pull it all together myself. I couldn't be happier with Jo. Again, she listens. She get's it. She is very talented, knows her brands, has many resources and is great with color. I am so glad I picked up the phone and gave her a call. Doing business long-distance with Jo was a piece-of-cake. As soon as my project is finished I will definitely post pictures. I not only consider Jo my decorator, I refer to her as my new friend!! Happy decorating!

I was very pleased with the results I achieved working with Jo Mckeown. She was very knowledgable about all aspects of creating a new space and working with contractors. It was very important to her to understand what I liked and disliked. I felt comfortable knowing she really understood my personality and how to help me reflect that in the final design.

Jo is absolutely wonderful to work with. I have definate ideas of what I like and don't like, but no idea how to put it all together. Jo can take ideas I have work with them, tweak them when they don't quiet work so it all turns out perfect. She has helped with, master bath remodel, hearth room and minor kitchen including built in bench seating. We did a porch, patio and pool over summer and Jo helped me with all the furniture choices. Ordered and anxiously waiting. It should turn space into outdoor oasis!

I have known Jo since we were neighbors and best friends 15 years ago in Las Vegas, Nevada. She transformed my home into warm and inviting, where people feel at ease. Great scapes, Jo Mckeown remodeled my whole kitchen complete with all new appliances, granite countertops, enlarged an opening for a larger oven and microwave, the whole inside painted in lovely colors. This was a large undertaking in a 9,000 sf home. She had trees removed for better view of the golfcourse and creek. She is so thoughtful, professional, careing. Works so hard to get the absolute best pricing. She is so knowledgeable about color, materials, soft and hard products. She always gave over 100% to clients.
