Volansky Studio brought our dream home to life, turning a pre-fabricated home into a work of art that we hope will be a part of our family for generations to come. Volansky Studio guided us through everything from incorporating a sentimental retired family canoe into a centerpiece light fixture, and shopping trips for stone and flooring, all the way down to getting the door stops just right. They took the time to get to know our family such that the house would reflect how we spend our time and the best use of the space. The communication was seamless, both between us and Volansky Studio, and between Volansky Studio and our builder, and all of the contractors, and it truly was a team effort across the board. On top of the incredible talent of Volansky Studio, and the clear pride that they take in their work, they are simply a joy to work with--kind, thoughtful, hard working, and healthy doses of humor when needed. Andrew is amazing to work with! He is creative, collaborative and energetic and has a special ability to identify unique custom details that really make a property shine. We had such a good experience with Andrew when working with him to build our primary residence (for which he and our builder won awards) that we have since engaged him for several other projects. Each time, we are impressed with his ability to consider how people really live, how important it is to factor in the orientation of a place (how and at what time will the light hit, where and how to best enjoy a view, etc.), and how to select the ideal products and finishes to make a space beautiful and filled with personality while also being practical and able to hold up over time. Andrew is patient and fun and we always look forward to our discussions. Andrew is consistently focused on making sure that his clients get exactly what they want and he has always been available and responsive. I can't say enough good things about Andrew Volansky and the work he does. We met on the Quad skiing a handful of years ago and he has more than impressed us throughout our search process and finally designing a remodel of the exact home we have been in search of for over four years. As you can see from my rating that I give Andrew, Kat and Volansky Studio the highest praise. He and Kat were very professional and responsive. They were client friendly and listened and wanted our feedback. Rarely was Andrew adamant about his idea or concept on a particular part of our renovation, yet when he was we agreed and understood. The finished product says it all! It takes time AND effort to build repoire with a new relationship and my wife and I did exactly that with Andrew, but more importantly he did that with us.

I used Volansky to renovate a basement in my Stowe home. The basement had low ceilings, was chopped up and quite undesirable when we started. Andrew dove in and seemed energized by the challenge of making this dank, unusable space livable. He turned a large abandoned utility closet into a "kids camp" with 7 bunks. He designed a GORGEOUS double-stall camp-style shower, and he even worked in a game room and a basketball goal. The basement went from being the worst spot in the house to the place where every most loves to hang out. It was a truly fabulous design. His work was meticulously attentive to detail, stylish and creative, and always on time an on budget. I was blown away with his great customer service. My family is dying to build or renovate something else so we can see more of his brilliant ideas come to life. A++++
