I bought my first home this spring and wanted to get some input from a professional to make sure it was everything I always dreamed of and more by time we moved in. Working with Jennifer was fantastic, she provided me with options for tile, wallpaper, and lighting that I never would have been able to find on my own and that I am absolutely in love with. She also designed the kitchen island of my dreams, customized to exactly what we needed and connected me to a builder who can make it a reality. The island is gorgeous and the perfect focal point of my new home and again, never would have been able to achieve this without her input and expertise.

Jennifer is truly the best at what she does. There are no shortage of creative designers in NYC, but working with Jennifer is a special experience that only she can provide. She took the time to understand the elements of our home that we wanted to maintain and what mattered most to us. Working with our architects and us she was able to keep the things that make our space unique. She highlighted the historical details we wanted to keep and made our space feel modern and bright at the same time. She also is a genius at picking paint colors, fabrics, and wallpaper! Jen understands beauty and practicality. She helped us make our dining room functional and elegant, giving our sons a place to do school work and for us to have family meals. She makes everything easy and her confidence in her clients and designs makes a sometimes overwhelming time painless. She breathed life into our home through the use of color and the selection of pieces in every room. I’m thinking of her suggestion to keep a navy sink and tie it all together with painted stripes in our boys’ bathroom. She is creative, intelligent, fun, and a true collaborator. She not only was able to help my husband and I blend our sometimes opposing styles, she also navigated and built relationships with our contractors and architects that extended well after our remodel was done. She also has fantastic resources and is our go-to for all our home questions. Thank Jen for making us and our home feel so special!

Jennifer is great! She’s a pleasure to work with and has an amazing aesthetic. Jennifer has worked with us on several projects in our home and almost single-handedly transformed our dark and drab living space into a bright, happy, and welcoming place. She was super mindful of budget constraints and creatively incorporated existing items/furniture when necessary. We’re looking forward to working with her again very soon- we’re not done yet!

Jennifer and her team consulted with me on my UES apt and provided an extensive list of recommendations that suited my style and budget. I was looking to refresh the decor of a two bedroom rental on a set budget. They shared ideas and perspectives that I would never have thought of on my own including suggestions to maximize space, improve room layouts, repurpose furniture pieces, create interest in a “cookie-cutter” apt and illicit a cohesive feel. They provided guidance on items I wished to purchase like diameter for lamp shades, size of rug, and paint color to complement existing finishes. They also helped me prioritize my improvements. They knew what was most impactful and guided me on where best to invest. Within 48 hours of the consult, they provided a detailed outline of all recommendations, including links to merchandise and vendors discussed. I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend this experience working with JMorris Design to anyone who needs a design consult. It was eye-opening and fun!

Jen is simply an incredible designer at the top of her field. This is our second time hiring her to design an apartment and we could not be more thrilled with her work specifically. She is a chameleon that can discern what suits you and adapt to it, divining a vision for your home that is pitch perfect, original, out of the box, and comfortable. Her vast knowledge of materials, spacial organization, and technical design underlies her creativity with smart and grounded choices. Her designs are never run of the mill or cookie cutter, are always extraordinary defy expectations. Your space becomes an original work of art. I would recommend to her everyone I know. The first time I met Jennifer, I knew I was going to love working with her on the remodel of my house. Not only does Jen have exquisite taste and an impeccable eye, but she approaches design with a sense of whimsy and fun. She is able to see new roles for old pieces and imagine small changes that make a big difference. Working with Jennifer was the best decision we made when renovating our home. I immediately loved Jennifer's style and her collaborative approach. It was so refreshing to be able to give Jennifer our budget and then review 3-5 options that she had carefully selected to be cohesive, stylish and within that budget. Jennifer advised us where to splurge and where to save and listened attentively when we shared our lifestyle priorities and idiosyncrasies. Jennifer has an excellent eye for mixing high and low finishes and furniture and designed our whole house with a look and functionality that works for our family of five. Jennifer liaised directly with our contractor (who was also fabulous) to realize our collective vision and it was a huge relief not to have to worry about technicalities like how much tile we needed or whether the couches would fit. Whenever a hitch arose (and they always do), Jennifer was honest, solution oriented, and worked with us and the contractor to make it right. And she always did!
