I see the problem. Your TV isn't big enough. It looks like you have room for an 80" or 90" on that wall.

Hi Viviana are you referring to decorating around it, or something to hide it?

I would like to decorate around it. I've attached a picture of the other side of the room.

I have a very similar dilemma in my house! I'm thinking I might go with a few black and white photos on each side of the TV, simple and in a grid format so it's not too distracting.

I would center the hutch below and then you could hang drapes on each side do the tv to make it seem like there are windows there. It would give symmetry to the space. Buildins on each side would look nice...or any type do bookshelf on each side...

Is that a speaker on the left of your hutch? That is making your hutch look off center, I think. I would move the chair, put the speaker in that corner with a tall plant hiding it, or a bushy plant sitting on top of the speaker.. Then on the top of the hutch, I would put a lamp, some pictures, some decorative boxes or baskets, statues, candles or something like that. I would not put anything on the wall.

HOW ABOUT putting the TV directly above the media unit? That's what we did (see photo). The TV is on a wall bracket but looks like it's sitting on the unit. We have a sound bar just below the TV. We love this -- easy on the eyes/neck. It would leave your wall open to creative design like floating shelves, art, etc.

How about some nice custom cabinets

Love the floating shelves idea, this way you can place a vase or, small piece of art, in front of the speakers, to hide them!!

How about shelving that's the same color as the walls or in white with cute decorations and brought colored books to compliment the other side of your room?

I really like the floating shelves especially with the recessed lights. I was also thinking in getting a bottom unit taller than the one I have now.

Had an added thought it you are going to add floating shelves, try not to fill with odd nic- nacs, but consistency of items, randomly placed and not too many. An idea that my sister had was adding a few African masks and small bowls, etc from their trip, and black and whites pictures of animals from their safari and some small art. Family photos all in black and white are great too.
