Love the rug, not crazy about the chair. Would it work in your foyer or other space as an accent piece?

I love the chair...I could see a pair of them side by side. However you are correct...it clashes with your rug. The rug is a good size and will be expensive to replace.

Love the original rug. The chair is meh. And with the new rug, it's double meh. I think you should put the old rug back and find a better chair.

Well if you have small children indoor/ outdoor rugs are great solution. At houzz shoping you have great selection. As much as your rug is cute I don't think it's the best solution. Brown sofa, and chair are more then enough brown in your space. Carpet in teracota orange will look great simple motif like Marocan will add bit of fun
