My husband and I acquired this mess through an estate sale. Bulldozing it is not an option! We have bought a new large window (same configuration) and are moving it across and up to match the height of the door. The door is being replaced by a 36" door with multiple panes and we are getting rid of the sidelights. We are thinking of extending the gable roof into a front porch, beefing up the fascia, and incorporating some stone. I was thinking of a board and batten type siding in sage green and stone in a grey/ cream/ beige. Can you tell me if I am on the right track? Other than the pillars, where else should there or could there be stone?
