It's all about fooling the eyes to look elsewhere and making it more inviting. Scones on either side emphasize the narrowness. If you can add a power source in ceiling and add a hanging coach light (brings the eyes up and lighting provided is more complimentary). Add urns and include yellow flowers, but place on either side of front walk (brings eyes to front vs into entry). Will have to move the bench down a bit to accommodate. Paint whole front (door, side panels and screen door) the same color to make that area look wider and a yellow would look great. Add an outdoor rug with a yellow to catch the eye.
