I have a 'silly' color paint question.
We have moved into our new home, and the exterior paint is washed out pale yellow, peeling and not exciting at all.
My husband agreed to paint it but only if the color we choose will be a shade of blue.
I do not mind that at all, if not the fact that two houses, directly across our home, are also blue (they are both almost identical shade, one is two tones lighter than the other).
My question is - how big of a faux pas would it be to pain ours same color, but different shade?
I don't want to be the 'copycat neighbor' , but my husband is a stubborn guy, and I don't think he will change his tune.
