The builder wanted $1500 for the matching cabinet fronts for my refrigerator. That was beyond budget so I came up with a creative alternative. $80 for plexi panels, $50 paint, $30 fruit/veggies, a self-art-directed photoshoot inspired by Cezanne and a very talented painter friend = a custom mural which beautifully ties together the palette on the entire first floor of my rowhome. I've never seen anything like this before, have you? I'm so pleased with the result.
