We recently purchased this home that has wood vertical siding set diagonally in some areas to give it more architectural interest. We are residing the house with James Hardie vertical siding. I'm concerned about color and whether I should add cedar shake siding in some areas. The James Hardie siding cannot be used diagonally without voiding the warranty. Any ideas welcome!
