I have a bathroom in the basement and can not figure out the ideal layout. The room is 13 wide by 7 deep. On the wall is a sliding window which is approx 5' from the corner. Working from the left I would put in a shower and then was thinking toilet under the window and then vanity but would a mirror only 2' away from window look good? My contractor thinks that I should put the vanity on the other 13' wall but then you would kind of be walking around it. Should the vanity be what a person first sees?
