Adding a TV wall divider between hall and living room

Hi all,
We are planning an apartment but still not sure how to place the sofa (approx 3m).
Initially the tv was going to be mounted on the same wall of the kitchen and the back of sofa facing entrance door. But the problem was that there was not going to be enough space between sofa and toilet wall.
Then we came up with the idea of creating a wall (1.5m) in front of the door that will serve as tv unit from one side and entrance hall on the other side. Will this make sense? Any ideas please?
