What did you post about?

One thing I try to tell people who have unconventional ideas is that it's their house, and if they like something, go for it. I've noticed most people who post on here are very tied to following design rules and regulations. I'm not unless there's a safety issue, but otherwise, I think people should make their homes their own, and if they want to do something a little different, go for it. If it doesn't work out, you can change it back.

Someone just posted a question whether an islands' table top can be made adjustable. Lowered when eating, and raised up while preparing the meal. I thought this was a cool idea.

That is cool, I'd like to see that. If you can make coffee tables adjustable, why not kitchen islands?

Just about anything can be done if you're willing to pay the price. It seems a lot of storage would be sacrificed. Did the poster say why bar stools at the island wouldn't work?
