Get a larger piece of thick glass to add size to the table and you will have more seating without having to buy a new table.

Adding or having a banquette built in the corner could be useful, you could add extra storage in it too . Just add a nice seat cover and some pillows

How many people do you typically serve? Do you have another room with a larger table for more guests? Every room has a purpose.

You could probably sit six with a banquette, but the table is only so big and it may be tight when eating. Perhaps having a larger wooden top made (and painted) and glued to the top and with the banquette set up (or two more chairs) it would sit six people comfortably.
