Your instincts are correct about the wall being too busy. You probably only need one piece of artwork over the sofa. The cushions might be too feminine for the heavy leather seating. In this photo showing the sofa wall, your eye does not know what to focus on. Bring your coffee table to the front of the sofa and an area rug under it. Also adding some black or dark color (such as a vase on the coffee table) will help to focus on that area. Here's something similar to what you have and what you can try:

Try the confetti picture in the foyer, hung 5" above the table now under the TV, if the table is 25% wider than the art. You are pretty busy here and wall decor is hung too high - keep it below the door and window frames to keep the focus where you live. I'd eliminate the curly leaves and shelves on the sofa wall. Frame the birch tree picture and hang it 5" above the sofa back. Spend the $$ to have the TV connections moved to the sofa wall, closer to the FP end of the space on a credenza that is 25% longer than the TV width. Put it on a swivel base for easy viewing. This will change your focal point to the FP/TV/windows. Move the large sofa on the present TV wall and "L" the love seat with it, facing the FP. Put the coffee table 18" from the sofas for usability. Add the larger round end table in the corner made by the "L" of the sofas. Leave the chair where it is but with the shorter/smaller of your two end tables. Move the G'father clock left, centered under the upper niche so it isn't crowded between two doors and helps fill the larger wall. Try a large patterned area rug big enough to sit 1/4 - 1/3 of the way under the sofas and extend 12-18" past the ends of them. If the plants are real, keep them. If not, don't. The tall one would look good in the dining room corner to counter balance the corner china, or you might reverse and put the china in the right corner and the tree in the left. If there are other clocks than the G'father, eliminate them. Agree you need to change the cushions - look for some that have texture and reserve the pattern for a rug.

Hi---you have nice furniture and beautiful art---what's not working is that everywhere you look-you see some sort of copper hue. My suggestion: PAINT. If not all the walls, do try a different color on the sofa wall---you'll see a HUGE difference. I suggest the color Keystone Gray for this room. I've attached pics of rooms painted in this color... Also, I think pillows that are less varied in color-yet still interesting will compliment the art better than those you currently have... Pics of pillows too. I hope this is helpful. *Move the leaves on the wall to the wall behind the TV
*Take down the white vertical painting and move the tall plant to that spot.
*Move the sofas to 90 degrees of each other and put the coffee table in the corner between them. I'm guessing you can't use a large coffee table because all your chairs recline.
*Take down the shelves. Now your walls will appear a little bare to you now but you just had too many little things on the wall. Think a few large pieces. Try the white painting next to the TV. Hard to tell from the angle of the photo.
