So I'm currently re-doing/renovating my home however I need some advice on how can I go about truly maximizing the space & making my smallest (12x12) room look larger than what it really is....

- requesting any tips regarding everything, from wall paint, baseboards, window treatments, furniture, to to flooring!

I attached a few pictures in which I like...such as the color blue on the wall (whether it is the entire room, trimmed in white/off white or just one wall w/ light blue paint as an accent wall)

I've recently pulled up the carpet in the room so currently debating on the flooring.... (Thinking of hardwood... ) however my OVERALL GOAL is to make the room appear larger....

1. What do you think of the blue color with the white/ off white trimming?
2. Any suggestions/responses on whether or not I should paint all 4 walls in that particular room? Or should it be as an accent wall??
3. If I attempt to do the accent wall; Are there any secrets as to know which specific wall that works best for the accent wall??? If so, please explain?

I've also updated a picture of the room so that you may get a feel for the layout along with pics of some ideas I liked...
