How can I get my shower doors clean?

I have tried several ways and none helps..it has the water scum or something on it..Driving me batty

I have tried everything listed except the 0000 steel wool buff---and barkeepers friend--so i will try those...wow bar keepers friend has been around for years. I will have to enforce my hubby to use squeegee again--he use to do it all the time (it is his bathroom)..he uses body wash not bar soap......I have tried RainX--didnt help....I will try all this tomorrow and report back!! thank you for all the suggestions!!!

Magic erase can be abrasive at a micro level. Sounds like a hard water problem? Might be just as simple as vinegar.

Try Bar Keepers Friend in soft cleanser form. Test it in a small spot first and check carefully to see if it scratches. I've used it and it worked very well. You really need to use a lot of muscle while scrubbing it too. Good luck :)
Make sure it's safe for whatever tile you have, not good for marble. If you do have marble tiles, you might be able to cover them and then rinse down quickly.

0000 steel wool to buff off the spots. Make sure to vacuum up the dust so you don't get rust spots on your grout.

I have the same problem. We have a water softener but it makes make no difference. Have tried vinegar...CLR....and many other products...nothing works! Never tried steel wool before...might have to try that! I think the best thing is to wipe them dry after every use. I am temped to just replace my doors and start fresh one of these days. Does adding RainX help- anyone ever done that on brand new doors?

I can't imagine CLR not working this is really weird. We squeegee after every shower and once a week with vinegar and a microfiber cloth and no water and scuum build-up

Use a dampened dryer sheet to scrub the glass. That is the only thing that cleaned my shower glass, and then switch to body wash. Bar soap contains talc which leaves the white coating on the glass.

Kaboom -- yes, it's a bathroom cleaner. Best I have used for showers and shower doors.

Resolve carpet cleaner does fabulous! We have well water and sprayed it on and washed with cloth then rinsed

I know this sounds strange, but it really works. Spray and Wash. It is a degreaser and breaks down soap scrum. Everyone who I know that has tried it is amazed. Just squirt some on the glass and wipe with a paper towel. If your glass has a lot of build up it may take a few cleanings. Once it is clean a spray and wipe every few months keeps the glass clean. My 20 year shower doors still look like new.
