Color Dilemma in our Kitchen

We tried a painting technique in our kitchen about 10 years ago and failed miserably; we decided to keep the Pumpkin color from the trio. We'll be downsizing in the near future and since we live in a conservative southern city I'm on the fence about my Pumpkin walls. They don't go with the newly installed granite as much as I'd hoped, but perhaps I can keep an accent wall.... I still LOVE my Pumpkin although buyers may be totally turned off! As an "inactive" real estate agent I cannot seem to separate my personal style from trends! Your opinions are gratefully appreciated!
Go with a neutral, a light buttery color or a soft pastel green or caramel) to go better with the granite.
Keep the Pumpkin.
