You might think about heading to the website FLOR and taking aloof at their products... great for children and pets and fabulous for clueing and maintenance. There have hundreds of colors, textures and patterns.

Low pile synthetics with a pattern that has several colors ...choose patterns that are less regular...not stripes squares etc

#also no big open spaces in light colors..

Purchase a synthetic indoor outdoor rug. Polypropylene. Lots of choices out there.

Also as a final precaution ...find a supplier that sells to professional cleaning services .... ask for their best cleaning products for your needs..I purchase their products for all my cleaning jobs...most time they are not cheap and sometimes they come in gallons...but the difference from products in the grocery store is astounding...especially the carpet products....the one I found...with a little spray and wipe by hand...saved a carpet area near our doggy door that I was ready to pull out and throw away..so happy for that as it was a very expensive carpet remnant that would probably have to be replaced with a lesser quality one
