I like your room very much; it makes me smile. That greenish turquoise, cream and dark brown for cushions. A textured rug that reflects the colour mix on the fireplace -- this one would be nice because it introduces restrained pattern. I would put that in place and live with it before deciding whether I wanted a runner rug behind the sectional -- but if you do I think you could go a touch more ornate there, picking up the coral/orange/red you have going in your art. The url below is the one google images gave me, but when I clicked it, it didn't work. You may have more luck.

I'd so prefer your TV to be flat against the wall, if you can make that work. It's all a bit too big to work cater-cornered. It's all working so well, colour-wise, that I'd enjoy a little touch of bad colour manners somewhere -- a yellow glass ball on the TV console?

What a great sofa and ottoman! You could go several directions with a rug - either behind the sofa or under the ottoman to make your lounging space even cozier. In front of the sofa you could try a dark brown rug or one that incorporates some of the warm, coral colors of your artwork. Behind the sofa, a neutral or even teal runner that plays off the Hawaii artwork would be perfect.
