I have framed up an L shaped bar in my dining room. I have made room for a small mini fridge on the shorter end of the bar and then room for shelving on the main front side of bar. This is basically my first time building anything. I'm not 100% sure if I did the frame correctly as the top and bottom 2x4s will hang over the "studs". The top of the frame is 14 inches and I plan to make the final top about 18inches so there is a hangover. Any ideas for finishing the bar with types of wood/style? Also any ideas on how to make it work with the framing I have done? Thanks!!!!!
