How do you hook up your cable box up to your TV?

We are getting ready to move and we will be installing our TV over the fireplace, only I'm not sure how to hook up our cable boxes and DVD player to the TV! HELP!

    I'll try an answer to this...

    This configuration can either be hardwired to units inside those lower cabinets, or there is a wireless hub where all the components live and a remote repeater (there may be better vocabulary for this) is being used- you direct the remote to the tv, the signal gets sent to the components elsewhere.

    The large electronics stores can help you sort this out and direct you to the products that'll help you accomplish this clean look or there are many contractors who install entertainment systems.

    All of the a/v wires in this case were installed pre-sheetrock. There is a special type of recessed outlet plate that allows the flat panel to hang nearly flush against the wall without the HDMI heads interfering.

    You could call an Audio Video installer in your area and they will have some great solutions for running cables. There is always a solution to hide wires. The remote controls can communicate via IR (line of site) or radio frequency (allows you to hide cable box and DVD player almost anywhere)
