I wish you showed a picture further back. What is your question exactly? Did you expect a continuous line in the grain around the room?

If these are not from a custom cabinet maker, you are probably sunk.

Unfortunately, I don't think you will get that from a company that puts bar codes on their cabinets.

Unless you specified matching from cabinet to cabinet, you get what you got.

You are probably right that they shouldn't sell it because it must have been a nightmare for the cabinet guys to figure out how to layout the overall patern between all of the cabinets. Almost a no win situation for them. Is there a designer involved in this?
The last pic looks fine but for some of the other areas it does get too crazy for me. I would almost be inclined to switch whole sections to a complementary but maybe painted finish to let the successful patterned areas exist as the focal areas instead of being overwhelmed by so much disjoint pattern.

I love it! Wood is a natural material. It is supposed to look random. Trees don't grow in even stripes. Consider adding a darker stain to diminish the difference in colors. Once your countertops are on, the floor is in and everything is finished, it will look better. I hope you selected a very simple one color counter.

Yes, We are switch to Rift cut white oak, horizontal with natural stain. Playing it safe this time!
I will post a picture when we switch everything out! Thanks for asking!
