Need help with window shades

The sun shades that are there let too much sun in occasionally. I need something like black out shades to go along with the sun shades. I think there's enough room in the frame of the windows to add something like mini blinds. That is the only solution I can come up with. I don't want to sacrifice any of the view. Any suggestions?

    Consider adding an over-hang to the exterior to block out some of the summer sun while still allowing in a good bit of light and not obstructing your view. If the room is not used for sleeping, I wouldn't recommend black-out shades else you forget you're at that gorgeous beach. Top down/ bottom up shades will give you the option of lowering the shade to sit in the window seal and Hunter Douglas honeycomb shades fold up very nice and tight behind a non-distracting valance
