One more thought. When we had our house painted a few months ago I about had a heart attack because everything seemed darker than I was picturing in my head. I did Northern Cliffs which is similar to Revere Pewter. However once furniture, carpet, and shutters and pictures went up all the walls the color lightened and it turned out just perfect.

I originally tried having the wall color mixed at 50% and it still was dark plus a color that was a completely different color, was silver.
Here's a pictue of old primer on the ceiling but we don't know what the color was but I like the lightness of the ceiling and it wasn't white. I have to find a light color like this ceiling primer.

Looks very nice, when I expanded the picture you could see the difference in paint colors.

Go with the lightest color on the Edgecomb Gray paint strip.

Sorry meant to say the lightest color on the Revere Pewter paint strip.
