Did you make the bed?

If so, do you have a site with directions?

Also, can you raise the bed to the ceiling when it is not needed, but the space is? Thanks! Would LOVE to take a nap there.

Daniel Hale (the architect whose house this is) made the bed - don't think it can be raised. it is great isn't it!

Go to VintagePorchSwings.com to look at their bed swings. Most of them are a twin size, but you can order a full size bed swing from there. We hang our swings from rope, but I would image there would be a way to put a pulley system on all four corners and pull each corner equally to raise it. I will say that a swing is heavy and it would be interesting.
