The countertops are Quartz ~ Lagos Blue by CaesarStone. At Jeannette Architects, we are partial to specifying Quartz for the durability and minimal maintenance factors. There are many different colors and shades from which to choose and pricing tends to run parallel to a nice granite.

The garage doors are manufactured by Clopay. Materials are Dark Bronze Annodized frames with SolarBan 60 Low-E Glazing to match the other door and window glazing in the home. This home was designed in Long Beach, California where temperatures are mild to warm in the summer. The idea of the doors allows excellent visual connection to the private courtyard as well as solar heat gain into the home, warming up the concrete floor slab to heat the home naturally through the evening hours.
