I've got many flower seeds which I was going to Winter Sow, but I've gotten lazy.

So, as an alternative, I am thinking of direct sowing into containers.

Any thoughts on this?

I realize it makes a difference which plants, but I've got a long list, so I would just like some feedback - in general, have people had success with this?

Any things for me to consider?
