Is the greenhouse fully transparent? If so, lettuce, spinach, carrots, radishes, beets, maybe a few more. If not, mulch it. I don't think you will get enough light transmission through two walls of greenhouse to get good growth of anything you grew there before.

I use the sidewalk on the north (end) of my greenhouse to ferment seeds I am saving. Can't imagine trying to grow something there. Perhaps use it for protection for container plants in stormy weather?

Kenny, it may be true, as Tom says, that the shade from the greenhouse will be just too much for most things to grow. It depends partly on the construction materials but most any glazing cuts down on light (despite sales hype). Then the angle of walls/roof probably wouldn't be allowing direct penetration of the sunlight.

With some light, leafy vegetables are the most likely to grow. Of the things that you have mentioned however, I'd be most inclined to give the cucumbers a go.

What about growing something vertical? Seems to me that if you can trellis tall enough to get some sun, some climbing veggies might do okay.

Thought I'd say that the north wall of my greenhouse is an insulated wall. There's no sunlight that penetrates the structure. The sun swings rather far into the north late and early here during the growing season. There is enough light against that north wall to grow Canterbury bells and foxgloves.

They bloom fairly nicely each year but, of course, it takes 2 seasons to grow these biennials . . . The vegetable (if we want to think of them that way) that has the most shade in my yard is the chives. They do just fine with only a few hours of morning sun through the growing season. And, they somehow survive snow sliding off the carport roof and piled on them every winter.

Thanks every one. I am 50-50 on placing it there and wasting prime tomato space or putting it else where. I started off thinking to use it like a row cover to start early, but I change my mind regularly.

Salad burnet has done well in complete shade (under the north-facing eaves). Sweet violets and parsley tolerated or liked early morning sun followed by dappled to heavy shade.
