Thanks for checking in, Stephen. This was a lower budget project. Smaller cabinets, of course, offer less storage space, but for a starter home like this, the savings was needed to make the project happen. I know quite a few clients who like to put decorative items above their cabinets, so that is idea that might help it not feel so wasted up there.
