Okay thank you . I dont have any children its just myself. I love reds, oranges, whites, greys and earthy tones. I live right in the CBD. My town is very layed back and alternative. I am also very busy and dont like clutter. I dont have any mesurement for the room at this point. And the the only powerpoint in the room is under the window. I have put up two pictures. Thank you

Don't know if you are allowed to paint? If the built in cupboard near the window was painted the same beige as the door to the balcony and the wall, the cupboard would blend in more (same advice for other cupboard). Not sure what your plans are for this room. Will you use the computer here? Other activities? TV? Eat in here? Do you have a friend over for dinner? One cupboard, near the window, could be used / outfitted as a computer / office / sewing / hobby area. I like this living room. Instead of a piano buy a TV / entertainment or computer center. Buy the area rug large enough so you can run wires under it. Buy a heavier rug so it lays smoothly on the floor (not a thin cotton throw rug). Under the window, have a small white round table & 2 Chinese garden stools. You can eat there and look outside & you can drag the table & garden stools out on the balcony, too, sometimes.

Thank you this sounds good i have something to think about now. :) I mostly just watch TV and eat in this room.
