Cleaning Out Beds and Odd Spider....

Hi Guys! What are doing in your gardens right now? It is such a lovely time to work outside (except for the skeeters that are threatening to take me away!). I have been enjoying this cooler weather. I am currently cleaning out my beds and have a listing over in the Alabama Exchange side so please check it out before these plants go to compost.

I had an odd thing happen to one of my hostas... I have about 20 huge hostas of the SAME kind all planted together. One of them completely died down to the ground while all the others looked dry but far from going dormant. This one looked like it was completely dead and perhaps sprayed with poison or something. It is now coming back up. It is coming up from the roots and is up about 3 inches right now... Weird!

Also, I found an odd spider today and wanted to know if anyone (perhaps Terremadre) could I.D. it. It is a small spider. The body is about the size of a ladybug. I compare it to the ladybug because it looked just like a bright yellow ladybug. It had small black dots and HORNS on it. It had very small legs protruding. You had to look very close to identify it as a spider, but it is definitely a spider. Any ideas?

I look forward to seeing you all in the spring!

Thanks guys,

Deb
