Need help with my Kitchen - Stainless steel sink with brushed nickel faucet?

I am revamping my kitchen on a budget. We must put in an over the counter stainless steel sink, however, I have fallen in love with this faucet and just don't know if I should put the two mental finishes together.

Please help!

Take a piece of stainless steel into the shop where you have seen the faucet - if the colour isn't too different (the nickel colour is slightly paler than steel I think) and if YOU like the way it looks - go for it!

If you love the faucet, it will give you pleasure every time you use it and if you chose anything else you would always feel nagged by the compromise!

Brushed nickel is usually very similar to stainless steel. Check your sink and faucet against each other and see if it bothers you. A lot of companies such as Grohe and Hansgrohe offer a stainless steel faucet option. Another option for you would be to use a complete contrast such as chrome which is timeless and matches virtually everything.

We have stainless sink and brushed nickel faucet. Looks great. My faucet system is attached through the granite not to the sink though. Like Quality Bath's idea to try and put them side by side before purchasing to see how you like them together. Should work though.

You will probably never notice the difference.

And I agree with gingerclaire. Your kitchen faucet is one of the most hard-working items in the entire house. You will see and touch it every day. Buy what you love and do not compromise on quality to save a few dollars.

Yes , please do not get tempted by a cheap faucet , go for a branded one , it will be worth the extra Dollars spent .

Every sink company has a different "brushed" or "polished" finish. You can check to see if another sink company comes closer to the finish of the faucet that you love. Or see if the company that makes the faucet also makes sinks... most companies try and make their products match.
