I bought a large piece of ginger about a week or two ago and kind of forgot about it. Today I noticed it has buds on it. There are at least 10 buds on it and from what I understand you can go ahead and grow from them. Will be checking out the "how to plant and grow ginger" instructions so I can have my own to harvest and preserve. Would never have given a thought of buying a large piece if it hadn't been for Zabby's instructions on how to candy it on one of the earlier threads. Thank you to the lady who requested the method to candy it and thank you Zabby for sharing.
