windowbox herb garden

I am ordering several plants from Richter's for an indoor herb garden. This will be in a south-facing window with supplemental lighting. I've decided to follow Mrs. Richter's long-time practice of placing a few inches of soil in a windowbox, then setting in potted herbs and filling in the soil around them. I will have drainage in the windowbox container as well. The roots will grow out the bottom of the individual pots into the surrounding soil, but not become terribly intertwined. I would like to group plants with similar water needs together in the same boxes. I have room for up to 6 windowboxes - three 3' and three 4'. These are the herbs I'll be growing. Any suggestions for best combinations?

dwarf sage

vietnamese coriander

cilantro

italian parsley

fernleaf dill

salad burnet

thai basil

purple bush basil

spicy globe basil

bay laurel

french tarragon

french thyme

english thyme

lemon thyme

sweet marjoram
