You are so lucky! I have one clump of T. in my "woodland wild" but the @#$%!## deer have eaten half of it. They have also picked off every flower on my pink erythroniums. I despair.

I also have one clump of T. blooming, a rescue from a piece of land that was being developed. No flowers on my pink Erythonium, have a pot of seedlings though, I let it set seed last year.

I had to rescue an entire hosta bed into pots (for latter transplant back into the bed - house remodel project) this winter. There was a little sickly trillium in there but of course it wasn't showing in December and I couldn't find it. I was very bummed but thrilled to find a trillium in another bed that I had never seen before. There is also a wild clump in the woods where I walk. I love them.

Last summer I cleaned out a large bed full of Ivy using roundup. To my surprise, this spring there are several Trilliums now showing their lovely faces in the area. Does it get any better than that? Get rid of ivy and discover Trillium!

I just saw one most prolific patches I've ever seen.

On my return from camping by Brookings, Oregon, I drove into the Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park at far north California. Along the driveway to the day use area, were hundreds of Trillium - likely thousands. They were all over the park.
