I have never had luck with linums, although I like them a lot. I googled scarlet flax because I'm not familiar with it, and read that the seedlings can't take frost. I'd imagine that would make it difficult for the plant to self sow, but I didn't quite find the answer to that question.

Thanks for trying. I read a wildflower mix that said it seeded over, but I suppose that must vary according to where a person actually lives.

I am also interested in knowing whether scarlet flax reseeds itself in colder climates, zone 5b/6a Southern Ontario in particular?
