Hi La Dena,

I went looking for the info and found nothing to explain but soemone here was kind enough to share, so I'll take my turn:)

A round robin exchange is hosted by someone and posts to the site looking for people to participate. A group is formed and either it is done secret pal style or one person starts a box with stuff in it and sends it to the next person on the list. Themes seem to be popular. I am particpating in a rr themed 'garden trinkets' (which is the put-stuff-in-a-box-and-send-to-the-next-person-on the-list kind) and a year long secret pal exchange with a different theme each month)
Keep watching for a new round robin to start or start one yourself!

Melissa

Thanks, Melissa, it sounds like fun so I think I will see if I can get one started. Thanks again, LaDena

anyone with opening on secret pal exchange i sue would like to join patty

sent you an email--I have one slot left in "carmen's 2nd round robin"

How do you do a 1 year long Secret Pal swap? Do you get the same pal every month? How much should each box be valued at?

There are two ways to do a year long swap. in one you have each person send to the same person each month, the other you send to a different person each month, I recommend that a person should join a few exchanges and robins before they try to start one, it is quite a bit of work even when you know what you are doing. it also builds your reputation so people trust you to trade with. my 2cents

Thanks for the information, veeja11.
