My Mother In Law had given me some pods from an ornamental vine last year. She lives in Kentucky amnd myself in the Chicago burbs. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew what it may be. The pods look like large pea pods. The seeds are black with a small white marking on one edge. She said there are purple flowers in the summer and the pods themselves turn purple. I am trying to start the seeds inside right now. If anyone has any idea what these are, I would appreciate it. :)
