Do the rug last right now. I would move the chair and ottoman in the corner between the two windows. facing into the room. Hard to really tell without seeing the whole space first. Can we see a picture of the whole space

Looks like the seating is positioned for TV watching. Can you move the TV to the while console table against the wall? Move the couch so the back is to the kitchen and the chair and ottoman angled to the corner between the windows. Then get a rug - with color - something that is bold like aqua or blue or green. But consider something in a cool tone, like the fireplace. Great room!

10sne1, agree the rug should be postponed.

Move the couch back so the front legs are on the carpet then you will have room for a coffee table and the chair and ottoman in the corner like I suggested earlier. See if that works better. It looks very cramped the way it is.

Can you post more photos? You are not ready for rug choice, I don't think.
