Jecca, when you say, "huge stains" do you mean areas where the Shout was applied? Did the Shout area remove color? Also, there are two types of Shout, and Shout Advanced, which one are you using? How long did you leave the Shout on the stain?

Yes, the stains are where the Shout was applied. No color was removed from the clothes; the stains look rather like huge grease stains. I used the Shout gel - not Shout Advanced. I probably did leave the Shout on the stains for too long (several days, probably), but I've done that in the past with no ill-effects.

The weird thing is that these shirts were all made by the same company, bought at the same store. They are all 100% cotton t-shirts with bold-ish colors. Two of them are newer shirts, and one is a few years old. I find it crazy because they've all had Shout on them before and this didn't happen until now.

Jessica, I have had this discussion with the dry cleaner that I use, and they have met with this situation on numerous occasions, here is the scoop from a professional (the dry cleaner): Only leave the spot remover on for the maximum allowed time (Shout states 1-5 minutes); if you want to have the stain soak further place into a bucket of water (with detergent if you want more cleaning action) with the Shout on it after the five-minute mark and do a presoak. They told me many customers have wrecked clothing with spot removers left on too long, but that when they come to them for a fix that there is none after the damage is done. I hope this helps.

This has actually happened to me before. That is why I only put Shout on clothing right before it goes into the wash & Shout works so well that that's enough time.

When I had this happen, it was on a pair of jeans. I put Shout on the spot & rewashed them & the stain came out... Can't hurt to try on your shirts.

Mine was left for LESS than two minutes before I washed it. Greasy stain where the Shout was applied. All directions were followed meticulously because it was a favourite wool top. Was washed in woolmix at once. Any advice appreciated . I am devastated!

My daughter used shout on a hot pink top and it left greasy residue and now the top looks horrible (no color was taken out but looks like pure grease spot). HELP HELP!

Every white piece of clothing we use Shout on, leaves a blue stain! Not washing the whites with anything colored at all! I've been trying to figure this thing out for a while. I've argued up and down with my wife on this subject. She says it's not the Shout! But, what else could it be???

Same here ruined at least 5 shirts that had blood stains on them they are trash after using Shout it complete bleached the color out of the fabric all tshirts
