Heubsch and Speed Queen make good machines, but depending on your location and model number,
you may have a hard time finding parts, service, manuals, ect ...

I can only say we just purchased the stainless models, and just love them, cold washing at the moment, and wow cloths are clean. Unless they blow up, we will keep them as we build homes and move around. We had that garbage that sings a tune after it stains cloths so you don't take a sledge hammer to them. We were going to get the old top load Huebsch, but dealer pretty much threw the dryer for free, as I read retail pricing is rather high on these units. But so far no BS and they clean, like any laundry service, so far . I work in very dirty situations, and hug my machines lol only because we spent 10s of thousands on garbage, trying to find a real cleaning machine. I remember the sales fellow mentioning he couldn't sell them. The price and un comon name, lucky us. And can't brag them up enough.

I am not impressed at all....I own a small motel and purchased a Huebsch washer and dryer set three years ago and wish I had not!! I bought them as I assumed they would be better than the household set that we originally had. I was told that I could launder bigger loads and the quality of clean would be superior...NOT....It was very soon after we purchased the set that we noticed we were getting black coloured smear/rub marks on our sheets every now and then. We called and were told that due to the use of bleach that the rubber around the door would be breaking down....WHAT....ARE YOU KIDDING ME.....I'm a commercial business doing laundry daily....of course I'm using bleach and not I am not using excessive amounts as you told me I am likely doing....BUT not only are we having issues with our washer, but we are having issues with the dryer a well....it appears that the grate on the back of the drum gets too hot and "melts" the fabric on my blankets every now and then and produces little balls of "hardened gunk" on the blankets so we are picking stuck pieces of residue from them as we lay them on the beds....I AM NOT IMPRESSED AND HAVE NOT BEEN FROM THE BEGINNING....I spent a lot on the commercial Huebsch set thinking that I would be better off with it than replacing a household set every couple of years....I wish now that I had just gone with a new household named set and ran it until it wouldn't go anymore and then replaced it with another household set....BUYER BEWARE as they offered me no recourse when I first brought this to their attention just a couple months after my initial purchase....where is the customer satisfaction in that????

This is by far the worst washer I have ever owned had speed queen for 30 years used a lot with 3 kids, I was told huebsch had bought them out but they must have used different parts this machine leaves soap residue on the clothes no matter how little I use even after I run the cycle without soap and the spin cycle leaves the clothes quite wet. I have been doing laundry for 56 years and have only had 2 washers before this one spent more on this one than the other 2 combined but would not recommend this to ANYONE EVER!!

For your please try a Unimac..

For your soap problems put the soap in the washer,mix it with your hand and you put the clothes .

You will get the best result.

Tried that as well as using liquid instnead of powder it still leaving residue on my dark clothes. I’m ready to send it to recycling absolutely despise this washer. E H

So true. rinse cycle is disgusting. leaves residue. our apartment uses it.

We purchased two commercial stackable washer/dryers for our bed and breakfast 2 years ago because we wanted a reliable system that could handle more than the standard loads and would be good for years to come. We were sorely disappointed, as they continue to have problems with the electronics, the drum, the rollers on the drum, with black marks on the linens from the dryer (noted in a previous comment, the repair company said it was a worn out seal - never found the cause). They have been out here at least a dozen times to fix it since we purchased it less then 5 years ago. The next major problem and we will pitch them and get a regular washer and dryer for a third the price. The cost of these continual repairs is ridiculous.
