I've used Gaggenau on a few projects (years ago) and was very impressed with their quality. I know that they recently launched a new line of products and met with their rep to find out more about the line. One of the details that impressed me was their new warranty program. Simply put, the more appliances you buy, the longer the warranty. (Which ranges from 5-10 years I believe)

Fwiw, I've used many high-end brands on my projects over the past 20+ years, and have used Thermador more than any other. Overall, incredibly reliable from my experience. I've used SubZero extensively too, and thankfully their reliability has improved recently. It had a period of poor reliability for many years.

Whichever brand you use, its wise to ask specific questions to your appliance salesperson about "what happens if...?". Make sure you know exactly who to contact if there is an issue.

Gaggenau ovens used to have small interiors. Check those dimensions with your roasting pans. I found out the hard way on Thanksgiving morning! Also, just bought a Thermidor 30" gas cooktop. Am realizing 5 pans are not going to fit on it at one time! Oops. But got a great package deal by buying all Thermidor.
