Need help with new furniture

We're inheriting this furniture, minus the rug. It's the only living room furniture we have. How can I make our living room warm and pretty with it? btw the pictures are not our house.

Lucky you to inherit such handsome furniture! Can you please post a photo of the room it will be used in? What is your decorating style? At first glance I envision a transitional room surrounding these pieces.

Well, we would have to have more information about your space. One thing I can say, is that since the recliners have such high backs, do not put them at the entrance of the space. I would get a more contemporary rug with a big bold pattern.

The coffee and side tables and the leather sofa are quite contemporary whereas the red easy chairs are more traditional. I like the idea of tying the two styles together with a fun rug like this cream and brown zebra print from Homedecorators.

These are great furniture pieces to have inherited! But we do need more information to guide you better. I do believe your furniture placement will be important, no matter what the space.
