Another one done!

This was one of my own UFOs. The top has been done for awhile, but I just hadn't gotten to the quilting. I got it quilted Sunday night/Monday morning (only took about an hour to quilt) and the binding mostly done while the 2yo didn't nap. Finished the binding at guild meeting last night in time for show & tell.

It's hard to see, but the quilting of the outside round of circles extends into the border. This had been my quilting plan all along which is why I made the border so wide. Otherwise, I'd have liked to keep the quilt smaller in size.

Still need to find a place to hang this one...Not sure it will fit on my miniature's wall...

Here's a view of the back... I think you can see the quilting better here.

I really like this Jennifer! What size blocks did you make? I am waiting on a Winding Ways die for my cutter to arrive this week. I will have to make one using my scraps. I also want to make a red and white winding ways quilt.
Do you have a picture of your miniature wall? I would love to see it!

Oh, I love Winding Ways. I have a WIP that I started a few years ago. I'm trying to do it all hand piecing. Your quilt is inspiring me to pull mine out and finish it. I really love this pattern.

Jennifer, I have space on my wall! :) It's beautiful - I just love the colors.

I have a set of acrylic templates for winding ways, but I don't think they are accurate. I didn't have very good luck the one time I made a block with them.

Got everything hung this afternoon. This is what it looks like now.

This Winding Ways was a pre-cut kit. I'm not sure I ever would have done it if I had to cut it myself. I think this one screams DIE-CUT!

Very pretty. Love scrappy look and your quilting is perfect.
Your wall of miniatures is a great idea. They are impressive. The new one fits right in. I am impressed with the precuts. Sure speeds things up. One that I am working on now was pre-cut which made a world of differences.

Love the mini wall! Also a nice remembrance of your quilting friend who moved away. Good job!

That's a beautiful quilt! Love all the lively, vivid colors in it. One of these days I would like to try my hand at a miniature quilt. I like how you have a display wall. Thanks for sharing.

    Best to you,

    Your WW quilt is great.
I like the quilting on it and I love the color of the backing fabric.
Your wall is impressive. The WW fits right in with the smaller minis.

The wall is great! i never know what to do with the smaller things I create but grouping them all together is wonderful! I wish I had kept a couple of the minis I made for the last quilt guild show!
