Building a door/wall perpendicular to window

I am currently expanding my bedroom by removing the 2 red walls and then making a walk in closet by building the green wall. My issue is that there is an existing window at the T where my new wall would run into. I am thinking of adding a pocket door so that it doesn't look wierd when it is open. Outside of moving the window(which i woudl really rather not do), any ideas on how this would turn out with the door going right up into the window?

Yes, that is definitly one option, but would largely defeat the benefits of the enlargement.

How about putting to smaller custom windows in the existing window to split it, and then build the wall right between the 2 new smaller windows. I have no experience with custom windows though...is that even any option?

I'm not saying you can't do this, but I am saying you shouldn't.

Leave 2/3s of the top existing wall, then install a door between it and the other wall if you've got the width. Leave the window completely in the new closet.

Don't split the window. Rethink the whole design.
How about putting the walk-in closet on the right side of the diagram?

What's the room in the upper-right?
It's kind of hard to give ideas without seeing a whole floor plan and dimensions.

Thanks for the advise...think i'm just going to bite the bullet and pay to move the window down into the bedroom.

I have an existing series of windows. I want to build a wall that will end at a mullion in the middle of the serries of windows, or I would like to remove one of the windows and fill it for the wall to die into it. How do I do this?
