Re-Introduction

Yesterday I was doing laundry and stopped to glance at the label on my 3-year-old's quilt. It was from my friends at this Quilting Forum and quilted by Linda. It's been three years and my son still sleeps with this special gift every day. I've been away from quilting for some time now, but have spent the holidays pulling out my stash and getting inspired again. I even volunteered to make a handprint quilt for my 3-year-old's school fundraiser. He's so excited!

So, be prepared . . . I'm back and will be asking LOTS of questions!

Happy to see you back Stephanie. Weren't you the one who started the jar quilt swap several years ago?

So glad to have you back, Stephanie! I think I must have contributed to that baby quilt?

Hi Fran! Yes, I did the jar quilt swap. I'm embarrassed to say that I just pulled my jars out last night! We've moved since then and I wanted to wait until I had a more permanent place to put the finished product!

Hi Linda! YES!! It was you. The quilt is still beautiful. In fact, I have a finished quilt top that I just pulled out and I was thinking of asking if I could send it to you to quilt so that I don't destroy it!

Hi Teresa! Yes, you're on my baby quilt too! Thank you! I remember that you always had such good advice!

Nice to see you back, Stephanie. I, too, have a block in your quilt. I think I saw a posting from you on the Sewing forum and thought how nice it was to see you were still around. I don't spend a lot of time on the computer, but do check in here from time to time.
