Installing Outdoor Lights

I have a question regarding installing some outdoor lights. I will be installing 5-7 flood lights at the corners of the house. My plan is to provide a dedicated breaker and run 12/2 to a central junction box near the switch, then tie in the flood lights to that junction box.

Is there a limit to the # of wires that I can tie into one central junction box? Also, in calculating the max length to account for resistance, is there anything special that I need to account for due to the junction box? If I am thinking correctly, I just need to utilize the longest run. Also, will running a single #12 wire to the switch suffice, I would assume so since #12 is carrying the load.

The longest run will be from the panel to the junction box about 14 to 15 feet, then to the switch about 6 feet, then to the light about 38 feet. I was planning on using 12/2 to lights, any issue in running 14/2 from the junction box? The lights will have two 75 watt bulbs, so the entire system will run around 1050 watts at the most (assuming seven lights with two 75 watt bulbs). So total distance will be around
